Jaeger Lecoultre Deep Sea Chrono

The Deep Sea Chronograph 208A570 takes some historical codes from Jaeger-LeCoultre diving watches, notably those of the Memovox Deep Sea from 1959. Its 44 mm case combines titanium with cermet, a composite material that combines properties of metal and ceramic. Its black finish gives it a technical and contemporary appearance. The black dial features three counters as well as luminescent indexes and hands, facilitating reading in low light conditions. The graduated rotating bezel allows for measuring elapsed time.

The watch is driven by the Jaeger-LeCoultre automatic calibre 758, composed of 340 parts and offering a power reserve of 65 hours. This movement integrates a chronograph function and a specific indicator to visualise its operating status. This indicator, inspired by aeronautical instruments from the 1930s, visually distinguishes the phases of preparation, operation, and stop of the chronograph. Protected by a sapphire glass, the watch has a solid case back and is rated for water resistance up to 100 metres (10 bar). It is paired with a black technical textile strap and a titanium buckle. At the intersection of material innovation and watchmaking engineering, this reference stands out for its dark aesthetic, its elaborate movement, and its functions designed for sporting use.
